CORLO LAKE TOUR
From the city of the Alpine troops to the Norwegian fjord of Veneto
A MTB or GRAVEL itinerary that follows the course of the Brenta River until it enters the heart of the valley, among rocky walls, Alpine villages, and turquoise waters.
From the center of Bassano del Grappa, cycle along the Brenta cycle path to Primolano, then climb towards one of the most evocative lakes in the area: Lago del Corlo.
A perfect tour for those seeking authentic nature, sweeping views, and the pleasure of cycling away from traffic.
Bassano, the Brenta River, and the bike path

We start from the heart of Bassano, with the river as our guide. After an initial briefing and bike preparation, we take the Brenta bike path: a smooth and scenic route that alternates between asphalt and compact dirt, ideal for MTBs and e-bikes.
The route follows the river closely, crossing wild and silent stretches where the only sound is that of flowing water and wheels on gravel.
Lake Corlo: emerald water among the mountains
From the valley floor, the trail climbs steadily towards Lake Corlo: its narrow, elongated shape, surrounded by steep mountains, has earned it the nickname “Fiordo del Veneto” (Veneto Fjord).
Here, there is a panoramic stop to enjoy the landscape and recharge your batteries.

Le scale di Primolano
You then reach Primolano, a historic strategic point between Veneto and Trentino.
Here you will find the majestic Forte Tagliata della Scala, an imposing fortification from the First World War built to control access to the Brenta Valley.
