Nella prossimità dell’Altopiano d’Asiago e dei 7 Comuni, c’è un confine invisibile e intangibile. Oltre questo confine, c’è un altro splendido altopiano cimbro: l’Altopiano di Lavarone e Folgaria.

Un posto che non risparmia emozioni e sensazioni. Ogni anno a giugno si svolge la 100 Km dei Forti, una gara XC marathon che accoglie migliaia di partecipanti. La principale caratteristica del percorso è quella di transitare nelle vicinanze dei numerosi forti austriaci. Tale costellazione che punteggia questi due altipiani costituiva la dorsale difensiva dell’Impero asburgico nella Prima Guerra mondiale.

Il percorso ci permette di viaggiare verso il Passo Vezzena e Millegrobbe, passando per Luserna e la sua antica fondazione. Dal Belvedere ci muoveremo verso l’ameno lago che caratterizza la piana. Da lì, ci dirigeremo verso Folgaria, Passo Coe e Serrada. Infine, torneremo verso Gionghi.

In questo 2025 ho ottenuto un buon risultato. Sono migliorato nei tempi. Mi sono divertito in una splendida giornata di sole. Un’esperienza da vivere.

Il percorso può essere utilizzato per qualsiasi escursione tutto l’anno. Spero di potervi accompagnare in queste bellissime ed emozionanti località ricche di storia, culttura e natura. L’ospitalità di Lavarone è ottima e il tour può essere svolto anche in più giorni. Assaporare la montagna e i suoi profumi e colori richiede tempo e una buona guida.

Near the Asiago Plateau and the 7 Comuni, there is an invisible and intangible border. Beyond this border lies another beautiful Cimbrian plateau: the Plateau of Lavarone and Folgaria.

A place that doesn’t hold back on emotions and sensations. Every year in June, the 100 Km dei Forti takes place a cross-country marathon race that welcomes thousands of participants. The main feature of the route is that it passes near many Austrian forts. This constellation that dots the two plateaus formed the defensive backbone of the Austro-Hungarian Empire during the First World War.

The route allows us to travel toward Passo Vezzena and Millegrobbe, passing through Luserna and its ancient foundation. From the Belvedere, we will move toward the pleasant lake that characterizes the plateau. From there, we will head toward Folgaria, Passo Coe, and Serrada. Finally, we will return to Gionghi.

In this 2025 edition, I achieved a good result. I improved my times. I had fun on a beautiful sunny day. An experience to live.

The route can be used for any excursion throughout the year. I hope to be able to accompany you to these beautiful and exciting places rich in history, culture, and nature. The hospitality in Lavarone is excellent, and the tour can also be done over several days. Savoring the mountains and their scents and colors takes time and a good guide.
